With over 25 years of experience, Ir. Yong Wee Kong is a distinguished civil and structural engineer who has professional experience, specialising in industrial, residential, and commercial development projects.
As the managing director of WK & Partners, he leads multidisciplinary teams, overseeing project execution and driving innovation in structural engineering solutions.
With a strong foundation in project planning, structural design, infrastructure development, and construction management, Ir. Yong has successfully delivered large-scale residential townships, industrial complexes, and high-rise developments.
Before establishing WK & Partners, Ir. Yong served as the Head of the Design Department at JEKS Engineering. Under his leadership, numerous landmark projects have been completed, including the Schenker Logistic Hub – a Large-Scale industrial warehouse and distribution centre and the Q-Cell Solar Fab Factory – a high-tech industrial facility for solar panel manufacturing.
In August 2012, Ir. Yong founded WK IBS Consult, focusing on advancing IBS technology in the construction industry. In April 2014, he merged his expertise with WK & Partners Consult Sdn. Bhd., forming a dynamic consultancy that integrates Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management (EPCM) services. Under his leadership, WK & Partners has grown into a leading architectural and engineering consultancy renowned for its commitment to efficiency, sustainability, and cutting-edge engineering solutions.
